The Army’s RDECOM CERDEC Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD), located in Fort Belvoir, Virginia – less than 20 miles from Washington, DC – offers new graduates an array of technical and non-technical employment opportunities. This lab, the epicenter for the research and development of night vision technologies, provides the opportunity to collaborate as a team on projects that span an array of fields and initiatives. From science and technology, to ground combat, to air systems, to countermine, and more, NVESD provides a unique, close-knit, campus-like environment where new employees can engage with their assignments, coworkers, and government decision makers. State-of-the-art facilities, coupled with the brilliant minds of NVESD employees, cultivate cutting-edge discoveries and developments within the lab, with the ultimate goal of assisting the Warfighter and advancing technology for the US Army.
