Badguyology™

NVESD has developed a new rubric of products that assist the Warfighter in recognizing the enemy. Badguyology™ is the underpinning and brand for new versions of traditional products that are now directed toward the current battlefield challenges. Sensors previously directed at detecting and identifying armored vehicles are now being tailored to surveillance and interrogation to observe covert combatants for signs of intent and for positive identification. Training previously identified as Recognition of Combat Vehicles (ROC-V) is now Recognition of Combatants (ROC). ROC software includes packages that train behavioral baselining, detecting suicide bombers, cultural awareness, and critical information about threat explosives. NVESD is proud to help the Warfighter meet the challenges of the asymmetric and modern battlefields with many Badguyology™ product lines, all having the scientific and technological underpinnings that have kept NVESD in the forefront of national and military research, development and engineering centers.
